GHD is a hair styling company based in, Leeds UK producing top-end hair stylers for consumers across the globe. With a dominant market position in the hair straighteners industry, ghd has become a cult brand with an "iconic" line of hair stylers.
Sponsorship
ghd launched its first advertising campaign after 2 years of selling products solely in salons. ghd initially sponsored the 2003 season of reality TV programme The Salon. In 2008, ghd sponsored series 2 of Lipstick Jungle on Living TV. ghd sponsored Australia's Next Top Model, Series 3 in the same year, styling hair for every shoot.Also in 2008, ghd sponsored Josh Gout at London Fashion Week and supplied a team of stylists for his show. In 2009 ghd sponsored the Matthew Williamson Autumn/Winter New York Fashion Show, supplying a team of stylists for the show.
